YFZ 455 ATV Walsh Custom

Nick Dehner's Walsh Framed YFZ powered ATV

"The bike started as an '01 walsh 250r geomatry yfz426. I decided to rebuild it after blowing up motor, trashing the rear shock and cracking the frame in 4 places. I sent the frame to Walsh Race Craft where mike walsh refabed the whole frame to '08 specs. Next the motor had to be sent back to tom at TC Racing who tore it down and rebuilt the whole motor. He ended up putting a yz450 cylinder on it to help with reliability instead of boring it out to 450cc. When all was said and done, she came out to be a 455cc monster.

I'd like to thank justin at JNA racing for all the work and energy he put into this bike for me. I couldn't have done it without your help bro. Thanks to Tom at TC Racing for the great motor work, Seth at SF Racing for the shocks, and Mike Walsh for all his help and support through out this build. I would also like to thank my brother Spencer for all the time spent in the garage with me. I'd still be wrenching on it if it wasn't for all his help. My boy derek for hanging out with us in the garage doing what we do. He helped keep the temper down. Thanks to my mom and dad for all the support and finally, i'd like to thank my girlfriend Marlene for all the patience and support she gave me through out this build. It wwas tough with all the time and $$$ I spent on this bike but she was supportive 110%. I couldn't ask for a better girl to have. I could of never done this with out her. Thank you baby!! Thank you to my competition and everyone who voted for me; it would be no fun if ya didn't have some good competition. Thank you to everyone that helped out with this build that I forgot to mention. "
