Kristle Engle Honda 250R
This bike started off as a 87 trx250r in need of a lot of help. Everything was torn apart, and evaluated. Laeger swingarm,a-arms, and steering stem started of the parts list. Then Lonestar axle, bearing carrier, and anti fade locknut were placed on order along with a list of other after market components. Most of the stock nuts and bolts were junk, so i ordered almost every nut and bolt new for this bike from Motoworld of El-Cajon. I then send the frame and a host of other components to be powdercoated a custom three stage cotton candy pink. ECP in El-Cajon handled the powder coating. The engine went to Allen fox Engine Works to have him work his magic. We ended up with a Ported and polished high compression 265. This engine features ESR billet heat, Hinson clutch components, CR ignition, ESR trx-5 center mount pipe. With lots of details left i enlisted the help of steve ruiz at Pacific Plating to do all of the chrome plating and polishing. I then took apart the ESR silencer and had the housing anodized black and the end caps chrome plated, and I knew at that time it would be details like this that would set this bike apart. As assembly started everything went pretty smooth. I realized i need a few things to keep the project going. So i decided to go with silver Fullbore plastics, black IMS tank, IMS foot pegs, black Protaper bars, and a Quad-tech seat cover. It was only right to use a Chrome bumper and chrome cooler rack from FuelATV as the last items to bolt on to the bike. Once the bike was complete i turned to John at goforitgraphics to come up with a custom color scheme to set the bike off. It took about three months to complete and my wife is very happy with the end product.......
