After
spending the last five years as a privateer
in the XC1 Pro ATV class of the GNCC Racing
Series, Bryan Cook has had much success, with
many visits to the podium, and even a couple
of wins. Cook’s hard work and effort
over the years has finally paid off, as he
will be sporting a new factory ride from FRE
/ KTM for the 2010 GNCC Racing Series.
In 2008, Cook’s consistency and speed
had him claiming fourth in the pro points
chase, establishing him as a rider with much
potential. Cook repeated his success in 2009,
taking home an impressive sixth place at the
end of the season, despite a dramatic spike
in competition amongst the pro ATV class.
A
brick layer by trade, the soft spoken Cook
is confident going into the 2010 season, and
with his new found support, Cook appears to
be quite a force to be reckoned with for the
podium.
ATVriders.com
recently spoke with Bryan Cook about his new
deal with FRE / KTM, his outlook on the upcoming
season, and how this top notch ATV racer is
adjusting to his role as a new father.
ATVriders.com:
Bryan, you had a great 2009 season, winning
round three and taking fifth overall for the
season. Now for 2010 you’ve got your
first factory ride with KTM. You must be pretty
excited about that.
Bryan Cook:
2009 was good, but, I’m really stoked
about riding for KTM this season.
ATVriders.com:
Can you tell us a little bit about how you
got started in ATV riding and racing?
Bryan Cook:
I started out just riding around my house
a little bit and I got into racing through
Santo DeRisi. He lives close by me and he
got me into racing the GNCC series.

Yes, he has been a really big influence. He
is a good friend and has always been very
supportive.
