2015 Yamaha Raptor 700 Review

2015 Yamaha Raptor 700R Review
::Continued::

During our time at the dunes, we took the Yamaha Raptor 700R on several long rides and the comfort of this machine is undeniable. Even bigger riders will feel comfortable and not cramped on this machine, like on some other models. The plush ride and easy handling kept us from feeling fatigued. In fact we felt like we could have rode all day quite comfortably.

The Yamaha Raptor is known for a comfortable ride while having plenty of power to tackle the trail in front of you

Anyone who rides quads knows that maintenance and occasional repairs is part of the experience of owning an ATV. For 2015, Yamaha has included a new electronic service tool connecter that makes diagnosing any issues that may come up an easy task. The connecter is also easy to access and is located under the seat next to the battery compartment. We think this a great idea and a great addition to the machine.

As always, Yamaha has a good line up of GYTR accessories and upgrades for the Raptor 700, including an FMF Exhaust, Dynojet Power Commander and a host of other goodies to customize your Raptor 700.

The 2015 Raptor 700 line up comes in two color schemes, traditional blue and white, which is offered for the base model and the 700R, while the 700R SE is blacked out with an attractive dark cherry frame. The MSRP has not increased for 2015 and ranges from $7699.00 to $8799.00, depending on the model you choose.

The Yamaha Raptor is known as the Cadillac of the dunes and has always been one of our favorite sport quads. The upgrades and changes that Yamaha has brought to the table this year really enforces our fondness of this ATV. This machine has plenty of power and excellent torque. It is comfortable, sporty and easy to ride.

Overall, we feel this machine is a perfect choice for dunes and recreational riding. We hope that Yamaha continues in its tradition of always bringing new ideas and improvements to its ATV line up on a regular basis as it has been doing. That alone makes us very anxious to see what they have in store for future models.
