There were several areas we found at Rock
Run Recreation where we could launch the 2014
Polaris Scrambler XP 850 ATV to see how well
the suspension worked while jumping the machine.
We were pretty impressed how well the shocks
worked even when flat landing a jump!

We had a blast launching the 2014 Polaris Scrambler XP 850 |
Although the Polaris Scrambler XP 850 is considered a Sport Utility ATV it can still pull double duty as a minor work ATV. With both front and rear racks, the Polaris Scrambler XP 850 is capable of carrying small loads up to 75 lbs combined weight.
The 2014 Polaris Scrambler XP 850 ATV also features an On-Demand All Wheel Drive. The automatic four-wheel drive system allows AWD to engage all four tires when the rear wheels slip and then it reverts back to 2WD enough traction is gained.
Topping off the 2014 Limited Edition Polaris Scrambler XP 850 Sport Utility are several comfort features including a large easy to read handlebar mounted instrument panel, narrow gas tank, gripper seat and handguards.
The instrument panel that shows a digital gauge, speedometer, odometer, tachometer, two trip meters, hour meter, clock, service time, diagnostic indicator, gear indicator and fuel gauge.

The
Polaris Scrambler XP 850 Sport Utility
ATV feels more like a sport ATV |
With the engine mounted at 90 degrees, Polaris was able to design the Scrambler XP 850 with a narrower gas tank that gives the machine a sporty feel while seated. The narrow width also helps reduce leg fatigue and it increases rider comfort for long rides. The 2014 Polaris Scrambler XP 850 also features a gripper seat design that is popular with many racers. In addition, the seat has a slight hump on the rear that helps the rider from sliding off the machine.

The Polaris Scrambler XP 850 LE model also comes standard with hand guards, which saved our hands from getting hit a couple times on tighter trails.
The Polaris Scrambler XP 850 is well suited for riders who want a sport oriented ATV, but still have the ability to have to use four wheel drive and carry small loads. With its unique looks and powerful engine, we feel that the Polaris Scrambler XP 850 is a great overall ATV to have fun on while maintaining its 4x4 utility class roots.
