Some engine braking aids on decent, but if
you need to stop quickly, the braking power
on the UXV450i is very good and stops on a dime.
The large 8.5 gallon gas tank is a nice feature,
especially for long excursions and the unit
seems to get pretty good mileage.

As far as handling goes, the little UXV is
quite nimble and handled well in both 2WD and
4WD. We kept the machine in 4WD for most of
our ride and were impressed with how well it
performed and recommend using it in 4WD at all
times when trail riding for improved handling.
The 2WD is a nice option if you are just doing
work around your yard and don’t want to tear
up your grass, and even though the Kymco UXV450i
line does not have power steering, the steering
was really lite, and we didn’t feel any fatigue
after test driving it for several hours.

This little workhorse has a tilt bed load capacity
of 440lbs. and comes with a standard receiver
hitch with a 1200 lbs. capacity. The unit also
comes with a winch mounting plate. Kymco has
already developed quite a few accessories for
the UXV450i line, including roofs, windows,
windshields and a host of other products to
allow owners to give their machine their own
personal touch.

Overall we really like the 2015 Kymco UXV450i.
It is very affordable SxS, in some cases, costing
about the same as a new ATV. We love all of
the storage these machines have and like the
many features it includes. The Kymco UXV450i
is well built and is well suited for general
recreational and work purposes. To top it off,
you just can’t go wrong with a UTV that starts
out at under $8,000.00. It is a great SxS for
anyone who is looking for a multi-use, durable
vehicle at a good price.
