Kawasaki Brute Force 750 4x4 FI Utility ATV Test Ride Review

2014 Kawasaki Teryx 4 800 LE Review
::Continued::

The largest double rainbow we had ever seen greeted us at the top the the mountain, which made for a great start to the day.  As the rain clouds moved in over us, we raced back to camp for some Breakfast and share the experience with the rest of the camp.

As if it was a gift from God, we were welcomed to the biggest double rainbow we have ever seen on our second day of our adventure ride!

After breakfast, it was time to begin our journey back to Beaver on the Paiute Trail System, and we explored some new sections of the trail along with some of the same, and we spotted a herd of mountain goats grazing on the Mt Brigham along with several deer along the trail, which were an added bonus.

Mountain Goats
The Paiute Trail is home to many different species of wildlife including this herd of mountain goats we came across on our ride

The Kawasaki Teryx4 800 kept us safe and comfortable the entire ride, and after nearly 150 miles of driving over some rugged terrain, I was surprised at how fresh my arms still felt, which attributed to the power steering system.  The steering was predictable and nearly effortless on the Teryx4 800.  Also, we were amazed to find that when you engage the 4WD Diff Lock the steering remained fluid, but the speed is limited 15mph.

Many Aspen trees lined some of the trails we navigated in the 2014 Kawasaki Teryx 4

As for a top speed, the Kawasaki Teryx4 800 can reach 50mph in the high, and it is limited to 30mph in low.  While the Teryx4 isn’t a speed demon, 50mph is plenty fast for exploring many trails, and we only found ourselves reaching rev limiter a few times during our adventure as most trails you are not going faster than 30mph. We also found that you can switch between 2wd and 4wd while in motion, but your speed most drop below 10mph.

On the 2014 Kawasaki Teryx4, Kawasaki chose to angle the dash indicators towards the driver. In addition they made the cup holders deeper help secure your drink on rough terrain
