2011 Honda Big Red 700 MUV Drive Test Review

2011 Honda Big Red 700 MUV Drive Test Review
::Continued::

The model we had was equipped with Maxxis Big Horn Tires and they worked incredibly well. They had an aggressive tread pattern that hooked up and gave plenty of traction whenever needed, but you might want to stay off the lawn with them as they do have quite a bit of bite to them.

The Honda Big Red 700 MUV featuers a 675cc fuel injected engine that has plenty of torque for both work & play

The proven Honda 675cc liquid cooled engine had plenty of torque, which made towing and hauling a breeze. The fuel injection is a nice feature as it eliminates cold starts and the need for jetting at higher altitudes. The Fuel capacity is 7.9 gallons with a 1.5 gallon reserve that allows you to work a long time between fill-ups.

The Honda Big Red 7000 MUV features a large tilting cargo bed that measures 33" x 53" can carry up to 1000 lbs

The Big Red has an impressive cargo bed that measures 33” x 53” and has a 1,000 lbs. capacity. The bed tilts and has plenty of tie-down areas in the bed for securing cargo. One great feature we loved was the automotive hitch. You can use any size ball that you would use for your car or truck, which is very convenient. The towing capacity of the Big Red is an impressive 1,500 lbs.

The Honda Big Red 700 MUV comes standard with easy to operate doors that offer great protection

While many UTV’s have less than adequate doors, or even no doors at all, the Big Red has good sized doors that have easy to access door handles and you step into the Big Red just as you would in a car. The doors are somewhat high and offer good safety protection and good protection from the elements, and the side nets also offered good protection and were very strong. The side nets on the newer models now roll up for easier cleaning and maintenance.
