After missing Lake Havasu, Leaverton’s win gave
him a well needed boost in the points back into
the top five. Kaden Wells scored his first podium
finish of the season, which boosted him to second
place in points ahead of former leader, Ray Bulloch.
Rowley’s third place finish was his fifth straight
this season, which has him leading the class now
by an impressive 23 points heading into the final
three rounds of the season.

Grounded
4's Corbin Leaverton secured his first Pro
Stock SxS Win at Sand Hollow, which boosted
him back into the top five in the points
championship even after missing Lake Havasu |
“I wasn’t at Havasu, so I’m glad to get back
and get a win,” said Leaverton. “I just ran as
hard as I could. Every time I try to save the
car it breaks anyway, so I decided to just go
for it. The dunes are really different than anything
else we race on, but it was fun.”
Wells topped off a string of three fourth-place
finishes to finish second. It marked his first
podium of the season. “It was rough and windy,
but we put it together,” said Wells. “I’ve finished
fourth three races in a row, so to get on the
podium is nice.”

Rugged
Radio's Kaden Wells secured his first podium
finish in 2nd place after finishing the
last three races in 4th place, which now
has him holding down the 2nd spot in points
behind Codey Rowley |
Rowley actually put himself at a disadvantage
at the start of the race, running his car in two-wheel
drive. Quickly noticing the issue, Rowley put
it into four-wheel drive and drove through the
field to finish third.

HOLZ
Racing's Codey Rowley secured the final
spot on the podium & he is the only
Pro SXS Racer to finish on the podium every
round this year so far, which shows some
amazing consistency. Rowley now holds a
23 point lead over 2nd place in the championship
points race |
“I thought I had broken the front axles because
everyone was passing me while I was going up the
dunes,” said Rowley. “About halfway through the
race, I realized my four wheel drive was off.
So I switched it back on and drove through the
field. I wouldn’t be here without Ray Bulloch.
He’s my biggest competition and he loaned me a
transmission so I could race. I have to thank
him for that.”
The Pro SXS racers will have just over a month
break from WORCS until Memorial Day weekend, May
27-29, at Iron Mine Raceway in Cedar City, UT.
