WORCS UTV / SxS Racing Round 5 Race Report
::Continued::

Maxxis’ Ryan Piplic took his second win of the day in the SxS Unlimited class. “It was a little stressful for me. My car had a broken wire and wouldn’t start 30 minutes before the start and I got to the line just two minutes before the start. It was still fun, Mitch Guthrie and I were battling pretty good so it was fun,” said Piplic.

Walker Evans Racing’s Mitch Guthrie, Jr. battled it out with Ryan Piplic and stayed close for a second place finish, which allowed him to hang on to the points lead. “Ryan and I battled but he got away from me and I was able to hang on and keep it in second. This class is fun and lets me see the course. It is definitely good practice,” said Guthrie, Jr.

Can-Am’s David Martinez was looking good as he put his Maverick on the podium in the number three spot. “I was excited to get back in the mix after two DNF’s at the last round. The track was brutal so it was a smart drive not a fast drive so I am glad to finish where I did,” said Martinez.

In the SxS 1000 Stock class, Chase Warren claimed a win even with a broken axle. “We had a great time out there and we are stoked to take the win,” said Warren, who also claimed a win in the SxS 600 class earlier in the day.
