Enterprise, UT - The toughest course
of the season presented itself for round six of
the 2012 WORCS series at On The Edge Raceway, where
GNCC Pro racer Brian Wolf made the trek and took
the Pro ATV class win, with Maxxis/H&M Motorsports’
Beau Baron finishing second and Robbie Mitchell
took his first podium finish of the season in third.WORCS Racing - Round

6 of the WORCS Series headed to Enterprise,
Utah, which is just over an hour away from
the famous Zion National Park | This was the first time in several years that
the WORCS series has traveled to Utah where racers
were greeted to a tight, technical and rough course,
and the nearly mile long canyon river section
rivaled the roughest GNCC track. The 5-mile course
was shorter than normal, but included six water
crossings that varied in depth and in some areas
the water was over the top of racer’s seats.
The narrow course and tough conditions also caused
many bottlenecks and even the most skilled racers
found themselves stuck at one point or another,
but unlike a GNCC event, racers can’t receive
any outside assistance besides from other racers
or course officials, which really took its toll
on the racers especially with temps near the 100
degree mark, which added to the difficulty of
                                the day.

On the Edge Raceway provided for great spectator
watching with the pits overlooking the motocross
track with a scenic mountain range in the
background, but the beauty was deceptive
for the racers once they dropped down in
the river canyon hidden between the mx track
and the mountains to tackle the water, rocks,
and tree roots for over a mile, but this
section of the course was only run during
the Production A races on Saturday and during
the Pro & Pro-Am Main on Sunday, and
the rest of the races used a shorter course. | With this round well publicized as a woods course,
it attracted the attention of several GNCC racers
that decided to make the trip out west. Jarrod
McClure, who raced the series full time last year,
made his return, and was joined by GNCC Pro-am
points leader Patrick McGuire, and fellow Pro
                                racer, Brian Wolf.

#341 Brian Wolf Win | The rough conditions seemed to make Brian Wolf
feel right at home, and he was even excited to
find out that there would be a dead engine start,
just like at the GNCC. Wolf’s exuberance
was more than enough and allowed him to grab the
                                ATVriders.com Pro holeshot Award.
