Ft. Worth, TX (5/19/12) - The
2012 TQRA season has been one of our most exciting
seasons yet. Racers continue to notdisappoint
as they battle for points in our championship
series.Round 5 headed to Village Creek MX in Ft.
Worth, Tx. Friday before races began some heavy
showers moved into the DFW area and hit the track.
The staff at Village Creek MX worked hard to get
the track in great shape for saturdays practice
sessions. The track worked in well and the showers
on friday made for perfect racing conditions onSunday.
The Expert and Pro Am classes have provided
bar to bar racing all season long. Can Am sponsored
riders Cody and Hunter Miller continue to put
on a show as the battle with JH Racing's Johnny
Hale.
In the first Expert moto Johnny Hale captured
his first Expert class holeshot of the season
and put asmall gap between himself and Hunter
Miller. The hard charging Hunter Miller reeled
in Hale and kept within striking distance for
the next 4 laps.
Hale pulled a small gap on Hunter Miller when
suddenly his machine stalled from a failed stator.
Cody Miller charged hard onto the rear grab
bar of his brother Hunter Miller as he assumed
1st place. Both brothers battled for the remaining
three laps with older brother Hunter Miller
crossing the finish line first. I was battling
close with Johnny for most of the race. The
track was extremely rough from the rain on friday.
I was able to charge hardthanks to my PEP shocks,
they were working great, said Hunter Miller.
The holeshot for the start of moto two went
to Cody Miller with Hunter Miller following
closely behind.Johnny Hale quickly made his
way into third place around Eli Church.Johnny
was riding Rick Raymond's JH racing tuned honda
for this race. All eyes where on the Miller's
as they rubbed wheels in nearly every corner
for a few laps. Towards the end of the race
Hunter found an inside line and made the pass
stick for the lead. Cody did not let the position
go easily as he continued to pressure Hunter.
Hunter held his lines and was able to finish
the expert moto with another win. Hunter went
1-1 and captured the overall win for the weekend.
The first Pro Am moto started with aquick changing
of positions throughout
the first few laps. CodyMiller found himself
with an early lead. Johnny
Hale was following insecond. Hunter Miller was
working his way though a mid
pack startaround Austen Dinger who was putting
in a hard charge. Cody
Millercontinued to stretch out his lead and
