Sherman, TX - Round number three
of the TQRA series saw plenty of action as Chase
Snapp took dual overall wins in the Open Expert
and Pro-am classes with Cody Miller taking second
and Hunter Miller finishing third in both classes
as well.
While Saturday’s practices at the North
40 Cycle Park were hot a dusty, Sunday’s
races would be a completely different story
as the day started out overcast with rain moving
in, which resulted in the day’s second
motos to be cut down.

was held at the North 40 Cycle Park

Despite the inclement weather, Can-Am X-Team
racer, Chase Snapp, was on top of his game as
he grabbed the holeshot in moto one of the Open
Expert class and never looked back. Snapp checked
out on the competition to take an easy moto
one win and looked as if he would be tough to
beat in moto two.

Moto two, however, was not quite as simple.
Snapp wasn't able to grab the holeshot, which
left him battling with Cody Miller for the lead.
Snapp would settle into the second spot after
a few mistakes, which was more than enough to
claim the overall win in the Open Expert class.
“I didn’t sweep it like I did in
the first round, but I still got the overall
so I’m happy with how everything went,”
said Snapp.

Can-Am/BCS Performance’s Cody Miller
was also in attendance for round three. In the
first Open expert moto, Miller wheelied off
the start giving him a slower start than what
he was hoping for. “I had to work through
traffic and I ended up getting in behind Hunter
and couldn’t get around him,” explained
miller, who would have to settle for third in
moto one.
In moto two, Miller grabbed the holeshot with
Chase Snapp right behind him, and the battle
was on as Snapp made several attempts to make
the pass, and he ended up stalling his quad,
which gave Miller the a chance to build some
breathing room on Snapp as Miller went on to
claim the moto win with a 3-1 finish for the
second spot on the podium.
