2011 Yamaha Quad-X Series Pro ATV Champion, #94 Dustin Nelson
After wrapping up the 2011 Yamaha Quad X Pro Production ATV Championship at round seven, Yamaha’s Dustin Nelson dominated for the final round of the season at Glen Helen as he claimed both moto wins and topped the podium, while MCR / Maxxis Tire’s David Haagsma and Beau Baron joined him on the podium in second and third.

Great weather only added to the festivities and fun for the final round of the season. The folks at Yamaha once again held a huge raffle and gave away hundreds of items including Yamalube oil, Yamaha hats, T-shirts, water canteens, pit boards, and license plate holders just to name a few, and at the end of the day, a Yamaha Generator was given away to one lucky participant.

STI Tire and Wheel was also on hand and sponsored a big BBQ for all in attendance, with the Bloodworth family taking to the grill and flipping burgers and hotdogs for everyone.

For the final round of the series, racers were set to ride the rim track, which many racers thought was a fun and technical course. The 80 degree weather was ideal and a slight breeze kept dust and visibility issues to a minimum. Those ideal conditions made for a perfect race day for Dustin Nelson, who was looking to end his season on a high note.
