Pont de Vaux, France (8/20/2011)
The hierarchy of the 25th running emerges as a result of the trials session. The victory will be played theoretically between the first fifteen.

Under a beautiful sun, the KTM SX (No. 63) of the French Adolff Bruno, the German Stefan Schreiber and the Italian Naicol Farri finished at the first position of this 25th anniversary. The team Flying Devils Quad (87) ahead 2 seconds of one another KTM XC, the Belgian team, Davy Decuyper, Auke Theuninck associated with the English James Hellewell.

The third lap is for the French team Race Comas Motos.Yoann Ciclet, Yann Cornier Sébastien Magnin with a Suzuki LTR (6). Romain Couprie (1) just like last year, is fourteenth, which had not stopped him to win the Mondial last year with 37 seconds advance.

Indeed, fifteen drivers fall below 3 minutes. Logically the future winner is among them. In this theoretical hierarchy, all the brands link their wheels, Yam 3, 2 KTM, Suzuki 4, 2 Can-Am, Honda 2, 1 W-tec and 1 TBS FIU. But now, the heat may disrupt all the predictions. With a temperature up to 39 degrees this weekend, men and machines will suffer.

Among the women teams top ten, domination of the Mackin Girls Team (18). The Northern Irish grant themselves the 37th chrono. And what a chrono ! A 3.05.807, less than 7 seconds from Couprie, the 2010 winner. Emma Mackin, Kelly and Emma McQuaid Verbraeken turned ten seconds faster than the French Séverine Astier, Amandine Dorey, Christelle Tarillon (69).
Starting 15 hours.

After one hour and a half of race, the winner Romain Couprie (1) took the lead on a quartet made up of the Belgian Thomas Remacle (10), the French Yoann Ciclet (6), the English Paul Winrow (7) and the French Adrien Mangieu (26). The official Yamaha caught up progressively the ranking.

However the first leader, the Belgian Davy Decuyper, author of a great start, was forced to return to his stand for a mechanical problem on his KTM XC.
Nothing is playing, the leaders follow one another of almost one turn on each, over the driver changes. The heat may have an impact on the balance both physically and mechanically.
