Burbine started the second moto out in fifth, but kept his head down and rode hard throughout the moto. Burbine was able to move up a spot when Mike Troiano’s axel broke early in the moto and also made his way by Jon Glynn to take over third for the rest of the second moto, taking an overall third for the day.

“I had a bad gate pick, I was all the way outside and couldn’t shift my bike going down the start and by the time I got it where it needed to be everyone was already next to me and I had some bad memories from last year when I crashed there, so everyone went left while I went right, into the grass, and hung out until they were clear and put my head down and had to work pretty hard throughout the moto,” remarked Creamer.

FOX athlete Josh Creamer also wrapped up an early 2012 NEATV-MX Pro-Am Championship by going 1-1 in the Pro-Am Class at Hurricane Hills

Lucas Oil’s Creamer had his work cut out for him in the short six lap moto, but was making quick work through the pack each lap. By the third lap, Creamer had made his way into fourth, and wasn’t stopping there. With only two laps remaining, Creamer pushed hard and found his way into second and was able to make his move on Moser in the top section of the track with only half a lap to go, taking over the lead and also the win for the first moto.

Josh Creamer & Nick Moser

After starting dead last in Pro-Am moto 2 Josh Creamer battled his way up the front of the pack to pass Nick Moser to take the lead and the overall win

Fox Shocks Josh Creamer had a better second moto, taking the holeshot off the line and distancing himself from the pack soon after, finishing the moto with a win, and a first overall in the Pro-Am class for the day.

Troy Lee Design’s Nick Moser had an awesome first moto in the Pro-Am class, starting off the gates in third but made quick work in the first lap into the lead where he would remain for most of the moto until the last lap when Creamer began to add the pressure and find his way by Moser in the Mean 15 whoops section, setting Moser back into second for the remainder of the moto.
