Clifford, PA - The tenth
round of the NEATV-MX Series revisited Hurricane
Hills Labor Day weekend. On Saturday, practice
went smoothly with excellent riding conditions.
UTV’s, Trophy Karts, and Pitbike races
joined the kid’s first motos Saturday
afternoon. That night, the Fritz family of Hurricane
Hills put on an outstanding fireworks show for
the riders and their families to celebrate the
holiday weekend. Race day was seen with overcast
for most of the morning, and into the fourth
race, the rain began to pour, thunder began
to sound, and lightning began to strike all
around the track. Races were stopped for roughly
20 minutes, until the storm passed, and then
racing resumed.
This left the track very sloppy and mucky,
giving the riders quite the challenge. A few
random showers fell after the storm, but towards
the end of the first motos, the clouds began
to part, the sun showed, and the temperatures
rose, allowing the track to dry up some.

BCS Performance's
#22 Cody Miller grabbed the Moto 1 Holeshot,
but #270 Josh Creamer was on the move
as he charged his way from a last place
start into the 2nd spot behind Miller
by the 6th lap

The Pro class saw five riders this weekend,
with Preston Young and Mathieu DeRoy showing
up, after missing a few rounds recently.
Hinson Racing Josh Creamer had a tough start
in the first Pro moto, putting him in the back
of the pack. Creamer would quickly make moves
on Mathieu DeRoy and Preston Young in the first
lap. Creamer’s sights were set on Dustin
Wimmer next. Into the middle of the eight lap
moto, Creamer was able to get by Wimmer and
closed in on the leader, Cody Miller. Creamer
made his move on Miller in the sixth lap in
a chicane section at the top of the track, and
led the final two laps, taking the win in the
first moto.

Creamer missed a gear in the second Pro moto,
putting him in the back off the start. Creamer
made his pass on Young early on in the moto,
and was after Miller and Wimmer. “The
bike was working real good, the track came out
really good, have to thank Hurricane Hills for
their facility, it was a lot of fun,”
commented Josh. Creamer would get by Miller
in the third lap and close in on Wimmer shortly
after and make the pass to take over the lead.
Creamer took the overall win in the Pro moto
and took over the points lead for the Pro class.
Fox Shocks Dustin Wimmer charged off the start
in the first Pro moto into second behind Miller.
Wimmer fell into third when Creamer made a pass
on him in the middle of the first moto. Wimmer
remained in third for the rest of the moto.
“I didn’t get a good holeshot and
I had a few problems with my goggles and visor,”
commented Wimmer on his first moto.
