Middleboro, MA - The second
round of the NEATV-MX Series was held this weekend
at Capeway Rovers in Middleboro, MA. What could
have been a dust bowl race quickly turned into
the perfect track for racing due to the early
morning showers. Rain during intermission kept
the track together, but with on and off showers
throughout the second half, the track became slick
and muddy.

Suzuki LTR 450 mounted Dustin Wimmer continued
where he left off in Walden taking first overall
in the Pro class. In his first moto, Wimmer
started off second to last and methodically
made his way through the pack. He worked his
way up to Cody Miller and battled for the second
position with Wimmer edging out Miller for the
second place moto one finish.
The second Pro moto, Wimmer came off the line
in second. Dustin was able to overtake Miller
when he slid sideways in the second corner.
Wimmer bobbled towards the end of the first
lap which allowed Miller to pass. The battle
was on from there.
“I ended up getting back by him half
way through the race and tried to put some fast,
consistent laps considering the sloppy conditions,”
commented Wimmer, who went finished first in
the second Pro moto, giving him the overall
Pro ATV win.
