tightened the points chase going into the season
finale double header. Hibdon is now just seven
points out of the lead going into the final race
weekend..

Josh Hibdon's 3rd Place finish moved him
to within 7 points of Nathan Wolff in the
points lead heading into the season finale
double header on September 10-11th in Oklahoma |
“I was fighting the bike all night and the next
thing you know, we’re back on the podium,” said
Hibdon. “We made some changes and it all worked
out for us. Nathan and I have been battling all
year. We’ve been 1-2 a lot. I missed one race
and he missed one. Nathan and I will be battling
it out at the last race in both Pro and Pro Am.”
The veteran Rath was angry with himself for the
rookie error in missing the Joker lane. He definitely
had the bike to beat, something he knew.

Daryl Rath is the oldest racer in the Pro
Ranks at 48 years old & it is impressive
that he is running with & beating guys
half his age |
“I was so focused on getting the win that I forgot,”
said Rath. “I just gooned out. I felt like Ryan
Dungy in Monster Energy. We have a great crew
and a great bike, and I think a lot of people
had a good time tonight. The Hoosier Tires, DASA
motor and Pep Shocks were working great. The bike
was solid, but I made a mistake. That’s all there
is to it.”
Taylor Peterson, who lives just a few miles outside
of Hutchinson, decided to run his one and only
race here. While many teams prepared weeks in
advance for the event, Hutchinson rolled his quad
out Friday and took the start on Saturday.

Taylor Peterson rounded out the top 5 in
the Pro Class |
“We worked on it, I made a few passes and it
was a good race,” said Peterson. “This was my
only race of the year, so I was getting a little
fatigued. I dug out the bike on Friday and raced
on Saturday. So all in all it was pretty good.”
Nathan Wolff had a difficult weekend in the Pro
Class, crashing in both his heat and the main.
He’s ready for the points race to come down the
wire in the final event.

Nathan
Wolff was running the #52 in memory of Andy
Maul |
“I got into a tire in the heat, and I got into
one in the main,” said Wolff. “It was strong racing,
and I got tangled up. That’s just how it worked
out. This tightens up the points. I have had good
results at Oklahoma, so I’ll go down there, try
to ride smart and hopefully win a championship.”
