Montreal, Quebec - Chad Wienen
took top honors at the 2009 Montreal Supercross
as he made his debut as a part of the Can-Am Motoworks
team on the DS450, while his new teammate, John
Natalie laid claim to the second spot on the podium
followed by Kawasaki’s Josh Creamer.

The Supercross
de Montreal is held at the Montreal Olympic
Stadium, which usually attracts over 50,000
spectators, and 2009 was no different
with a nearly packed stadium
|
The annual Montreal Supercross event is as popular
as ever and once again a packed house was in order
as bikes, buggies and quads took to the technical
track.
|
Even though
the Supercross is held in Canada, it still
attracts many of the top ATV motocross
racers from the USA, and for 2009, Chad
Wienen, John Natalie Jr, Josh Creamer
& Cody Miller made the trip across
the border to compete agains Canada's
best, which includes Richard Pelchat &
Jasmin Plante to name a few

Saturday afternoon’s qualifiers proved
to be pretty exciting, which had Wienen taking
the win in the first qualifier, followed by Josh
Creamer and Canadian racer, Jasmin Plante.

Motoworks
Can-Am's Chad Wienen claimed his 1st Win
on the DS450 with the 1st Qualifier Win
|
Kawasaki's
Josh Creamer got off to a near last place
start, but he charged his way to the 2nd
spot & recorded the fastest laptime
|
In the second qualifier John Natalie claimed
the win with Cody Miller in second and Richard
Pelchat taking third, which set the stage for
an exciting main event with both Motoworks / Can-Am
ATV racers claiming wins in the heat races.

Can-Am's John Natalie Jr grabbed the Holeshot
& held onto the lead just ahead of
#22 Cody Miller

Motocross Champion, Can-Am's Richard Pelchat,
claimed the third spot in front of his
hometown crowd
