Gosport, IN (10/29/2015) - The
2015 WORCS Mid America Cross Country racing series
held their season finale this past weekend in Gosport,
Indiana, just south of Indianapolis. The weekend
was headlined by Kyle Chaney wrapping up his MAXC
Pro UTV championship with the win at the Rally in
the Valley season finale.

Can-Am / TurnKey UTV / MAXXIS Tire's Kyle Chaney
didn't have a lot to prove at the season finale
as he had a sizable points lead heading into the
event, however he let it all hang out during his
Pro UTV race as he came off the line ripping the
holeshot with his Vipr tires! Chaney headed into
the wide open bean-field course and quickly began
putting time between himself and the other competitors.
By the end of the first lap Chaney was already
out of sight and out of an ear-shot of anyone
else in the field. Chaney, with help this time
from his copilot, also his girlfriend, hooned
around the course dramatically pitching his Maverick
into each corner drifting with immense control
and throwing muddy roost as the fans looked on.
With the course dialed in, Chaney kept up his
pace and went on to win the event to notch another
win in his belt and take away the 2015 MAXC UTV
Pro championship.

"I'm really happy with the way this season
turned out and how everything came together. Unfortunately
I wasn't able to take a championship in the GNCC
series this season but I'm happy I could make
it to the MAXC series and put in some solid finished.
The series did an amazing job this season and
it was a ton of fun to race and compete with everyone.
The course today was super slick on top because
of the fresh rain shower but it got tacky after
a few laps and we were able to really drive the
car hard and push its limits. I just have to thank
all of my sponsors and everyone who helped out
this season, we had a blast," said Chaney.
Houser Racing’s Jason Dehart came off the line
in third place behind Chaney up front and John
Tucker in second place. Dehart hung out behind
Tucker for the first lap while studying the course
and Tucker’s movements and lines and was able
to put a pass on him within the first two laps.
Dehart continued on this past and kept up his
speed and was able to take away a second place
finish in the Pro class and a second place overall
on the day, and his first race in the MAXC in
2015.

Polaris’ John Tucker got off to a great start
as well in second place coming off the line in
the wake of Chaney and just ahead of Dehart. Tucker
was able to hold onto the second place position
and battled hard for it for the first couple of
laps until he slipped back to third place. Tucker
stayed in this position for the remaining laps
of the race, coming away with a third place finish
on the podium, his first race of the MAXC 2015
season as well.
