Racing action kicked off right along the France Park’s beach and made its way onto the 9-mile course. The track was fast and featured wooded trails, open field sections, several creek crossings, and the Unabiker Rock Jump.

PKG Powersports’ Kevin Cunningham grabbed the Pro ATV Class Holeshot aboard his HMF powered Honda 450R ATV. Cunningham lead early into the race, until he stalled his engine and fell back to third place.

“We got off to a good start and we pulled the Holeshot. I started pushing a little bit harder off the start because I knew that Taylor (Kiser) and Walker (Fowler) were going to come pretty quick. I tried to ride smooth all day. About midway through I stalled the bike and hardly could get it fired back up. I got it refired and I took back off and to catch these guys. I am glad to be on the podium” exclaimed Spider Graphix’ Kevin Cunningham
Despite starting dead last, Walker Fowler passed almost half the pro field by the end of lap one. By the second lap, Fowler had caught up to the front of the pack and moved into third place with Taylor Kiser and Kevin Cunningham within his sights. By the sixth lap, Fowler had worked his way into first place, but Kiser would eventually make a last minute pass for the win about an eighth of a mile before the finish.

“Whatever the second row is, I got the holeshot in the second class” joked Walker Fowler from the podium. “I knew it was going to be a long day. I rode smart and smooth and I tired to feed off others mistakes” said Walker Fowler of his second place finish
