Can-Am Motoworks’s Jeremie Warnia topped the
podium in both the Pro Production and Open Pro classes
at round three of the Yamaha ITP Quadcross series,
putting him in the series points lead in both classes.
Warnia flew off the line in moto one of the Pro
Production class, behind Can-Am Epic racer Sage
Baker and Yamaha backed racer, Justin Noss. Warnia
got around both Noss and Baker to take an early
lead. Once out front, there was no stopping him
as Warnia took his number one position all the
way to the finish line.

#62 Jeremie Warnia takes the lead in Moto
2 with #94 Dustin Nelson in chase |
In moto two, Warnia was again third off the line
behind Yamaha’s Dustin Nelson, who is still
recovering from a shoulder injury, and Justin
Noss. Warnia got by Noss shortly into the moto
and began his pursuit of Nelson. Once Warnia caught
Nelson a back and forth battle ensued, with Warnia
eventually coming out the victor and taking the
overall Pro Production win. “I had a very
good day. I am very happy to have won,”
said an excited Warnia.
Yamaha’s Dustin Nelson got off to a mid
pack start in the first moto, but quickly made
his way into second place and began to chase down
Warnia. Nelson was able to catch the French Can-Am
rider, but was unable to make a pass before reaching
the checkered flag, leaving him to settle for
second place.

In the second moto, Nelson grabbed the holeshot
with Justin Noss and Jeremie Warnia right behind
him. Nelson would eventually end up in a battle
with Warnia for the lead. “Jeremie and I
were going back and forth, but my shoulder started
giving me trouble again and I wasn’t able
to hold him off,” said a disappointed Nelson,
who plans to be back to 100% at the next round.
Other French rider Couprie Romain got off the
line in mid pack for both motos. Romain who made
his Quadcross debut at round one claimed a 4-3
finish to take the final spot on the podium.
