Jacksonville, TX - For eleven years now the good folks at High Lifter Products have put on the largest off road mud riding event in the entire world. The cool weather was supposedly moving out for warm spring temperatures but at the Mud Creek Off road park in Jacksonville, Texas this was not the case. Extra camping areas were fixed up at the park but more importantly the roads in and out of the infamous “Sand pit” as well as the High Line area had been widened and extra lanes created to keep the flow of humans and rubber tire vehicles in constant motion. Or at least that was the plan.

2013 High Lifter ATV Mud Nationals takes place each year in Jacksonville, TX with an average 13,000 - 15,000 off-road enthusiasts in attendance

Many of the vendors from years past made the pilgrimage to the park to hopefully score big in product and repair services to the expected 13,000 to 15,000 enthusiasts that filled the rolling hills of the east Texas facility. In speaking with industry peeps like Quadshop Customs, Dayco Belts and HMF exhausts it seemed they looked forward to a successful week in the park.

There were many vendor booths set up at the 2013 High Lifter ATV Mud Nationals including Quadshop Customs, Dayco Belts, HMF, Yamaha & Can-AM

From cooking to showboating their ATV / SXS building skills and even racing, there was nothing you couldn’t do to prove you could be the best at what your talent is. Wednesday would be the day for the first list of events including Outlaw BBQ Throw down, Dyno Jet Bad 2 ‘da bone custom machine contest and the Wet Sounds Mud Jam stereo competition.

The Dyno Jet Bad 2 'da Bone custom machine contest drew in many highly modified SxS / UTV

Starting off the day on Wednesday at around 2:00pm the wild rides began to fill the vendor area for everyone’s inspection to witness the Dyno Jet Bad 2 ‘da Bone custom machine contest. The mix of ATV and SXS was almost even with the SXS pulling the load.

From radical colors to huge lifted rides the machines were an example of what a human mind and engineering marvels can be created with enough time and money.
