The Polaris Mudda-cross event once again
attracted a large crowd of spectators &
racers out to the oval mud pit |
The first riders to charge into the mud bog course
came to almost a dead stop when they hit the thick
muck. It took the first riders nearly 10 minutes
to make it through the course, which prompted
officials to start adding water to the mix to
thin it out a bit and by the middle of the event,
it was back to its usual, soupier consistency

|
The
Can-Am Mud Bog pit was as thick as ever,
which made it a real challenge for the early
racers to get through the muck, but a few
truck loads of water fixed the issue, which
kept the fans cheering on the racing action |
After the mud bogs, live music, sponsored by
Red Dirt Hurricane Energy drinks was on hand.
This year, the live music stage was moved from
the vendor area, to the main area where lots of
people showed up to dance and listen to the music.

were many participants and the competition lasted
for almost four hours.
Through the course of the weekend, 30 golden
tickets were given away for a chance to win a
new Polaris XP 900. Tickets were put in bottles
and scattered in the mud pits, where eager participants
braved the thick soup as they hunted for the tickets.
Once the tickets were all found, each ticket holder
was given a key. The key that started the Polaris

who was more than overjoyed with his new toy
