“It feels really good to get the win. This was my third time out here and it was an amazing race. The track was good, and they really put together a good event,” added Trantham’s teammate, Mike Edwards.

The Hicklin Elite team gave Kevin Trantham and his team quite a challenge and stayed close in time and laps, finishing with 32 as well, but with a time of 10:23:39. “We didn’t have any issues and it was awesome to go up against some really fast teams. We really had a good time and very happy we finished in second,” said the team.

In the A class, the competition was close with all four teams in the class finishing with 33 laps, so it was a race to the finish line for all in that class, but the MAXC team was the first to reach the checkered flag with a time of 10:13:56, while team Wide Open finished second, just three minutes after and the JW Builders team, who had never done any kind of XC racing before claimed third.
