The team of three kept pushing and began to battle with Team MAXC for the second half of the race. The team only had minor issues during the ten hour race; McClure lost his seat and had to pit for another at one point and one motor blew just as they came through scoring. Luckily, the team had a good quad in the impound and was able to finish the race in a solid fourth.

“We had a lot of ups and downs, but fought till the end and were able to finish. We had a good battle with MAXC and it was a lot of fun. The dust was brutal and the track got a bit rough, but I am glad we finished. I wanted a podium, but we’ll come back and give it another try,” said McClure.
“The Can-Am worked great. It took me awhile to find my groove because I am not used to cross country, but I had a lot of fun,” said Rastrelli.
The Series Challenge drew four teams from across the nation with a mega purse of $4,000 to the winning racers and $2,000 to the winning series that sent the team. Indiana, Michigan, West Virginia and Iowa were all represented with Team IXCR from Indiana taking the win.
