In the Pro-am ranks, the Duncan Racing team,
which was put together as a last minute effort,
claimed the victory in their class and went on
to take third overall with 37 laps completed in
a time of 10:10:54.

Shrum Racing would finish in a respectable second
place with 36 laps and a time of 10:05:51, while
the Gold Diggers team found their way to the number
three spot in the Pro-am class with a total of
36 laps as well, but a time of 10:12:33.

As weary racers head home after a long weekend
of racing and pushing themselves and their machines
to the limit, planning is already in the works
for next year’s GBC Heartland Challenge
that will again be held in Carlisle, IA.
