Springville, IN (4/26/2015) - Maxxis’
Chris Bithell took his first win of the season at
round five of the 2015 AMSOIL Grand National Cross
Country Series presented by Maxxis. Team Maxxis/FLY/Yamaha's
Chris Borich claimed the second spot on the podium
and JMR / ATVRiders.com backed Jarrod McClure rounding
out the GNCC XC1 Pro ATV at one of the muddiest
races of the 2015 GNCC season.

The rain fell early at the fourth running of
the Limestone 100 GNCC in Indiana, but that didn’t
stop the riders from battling it out all afternoon.
JMR/ATVRiders.com backed Jarrod McClure grabbed
$250 AMSOIL XC1 Pro ATV Holeshot Award as he led
a string of racers into the woods on the opening
lap, but by the end of the first lap Walker Fowler
had taken over the lead followed by Chris Bithell.

Bithell charged his way into the lead in lap
two, and once out front, he continued to pull
away from the competition, and by the checkered
flag, Bithell took the win with an impressive
three minutes to spare over second place. For
Bithell, this was not only his first win of the
season, but also, his first podium finish, which
boosted him into the top five in points.

FLY Racing’s Chris Borich spent most of the race
battling with Brycen Neal, but in the final lap,
Neal suffered a mechanical issue, which took him
out of the race. Borich took over the second spot,
which he held to the checkered flag. The six time
champion has yet to claim the top spot on the
box since making the switch this year, but he
has three podium finishes, so it will only be
a matter of time before Borich and his new Yamaha
ride become one and he starts to add to his GNCC
Racing all-time win record.
