(3/19/2014) – Round two of Maxxis General GNCC racing kicked off in sunny Washington, Georgia this pas weekend. Can-Am’s Pro 4x4 racer, Jordan Phillips, claimed the win ahead of Bryan Buckhannon and Rick Cecco. Quency Cunningham took the WXC win and Cody Collier took first in the School Boy Class.

Jordan Phillips just missed a podium finish in Florida with a fourth place finish, but he came on strong at round two by holding off Bryan Buckhannon at the checkered flag to secure the win, which also boosted Phillips into the second spot in the 4x4 Pro class points race.

Bryan Buckhannon overcame a bad get off, which knocked the wind out of him to come back and challenge Phillips for the win in the final lap. Buckhannon finished one second behind Phillips in the second spot, which boosted Buckhannon into the 4x4 Pro points lead after two second place finishes to kick off the season.

Coldcock Whiskey / Polaris’ Richard Cecco claimed the final spot on the podium once again with his Polaris Scrambler XP. Cecco had to work for it as he was in the fifth spot after lap one. The Polaris Scrambler XP 850 mounted racer put on a hard charge and worked his way into third by lap three, which he held to the checkered flag.

Robert Smith finished in fourth and Michael Swift rounded out the top five. Round one winner, Kevin Trantham, lead the race for three laps before his race day ended, which dropped him back to a sixth place finish and placing him third in points.
