                                  Masontown, WV (5/27/2012) –
Marvin’s Mountain Top was the site of
another victory for defending pro champ, Chris
Borich, at round number seven of the 2012 GNCC
series, where Yamaha /Ballance Racing teammates
Taylor Kiser and Walker Fowler joined him on
                                  the pro podium.

The Mountaineer Run featured a track that
was similar to the last three rounds with
plenty of rocks, trees, hill climbs, and of
course, a few mud holes. The weather was quite
warm with temps hovering around 90 degrees,
but that was no match for a determined Chris
                                    Borich.

Chris Borich continued his domination in
the XC1 Pro class with his fourth straight
win at the Mountaineer Run. Borich was in
the number three spot behind Taylor Kiser
and Adam McGill going into the first lap,
but in lap two Borich inherited second when
McGill dropped back. Borich stayed close to
Kiser, and in the third lap, Borich took over
the lead. Borich began to pull away and took
the win by over three minutes ahead of Kiser.

Yamaha / Ballance Racing’s Taylor Kiser
was in second off the start and inherited
the lead after Adam McGill encountered issues.
Kiser was looking strong out front, but Chris
Borich was close behind. Kiser held off the
competition for two laps, before Borich got
by, putting Kiser in second. Kiser held his
position for the remainder of the race despite
his teammate Walker Fowler closing in late
in the race. “It was a good track and
a good race. I was in the lead for a couple
of laps and didn’t make any mistakes
but Chris got by me at the white flag,”
                                    said Kiser.
Yamaha / Ballance Racing’s Walker Fowler
didn’t get the best start as he was
only in the number nine spot in the first
lap. Fowler was on a mission, however, and
charged his way into sixth place by the end
of the second lap. Fowler stayed in sixth
for another lap before making another charge
and making his way into third in the final
lap. Fowler was looking strong and held his
position all the way to the checkered flag
for the final spot on the podium.

in the top five going into the first lap and
was right behind Jarrod McClure. Bithell put
the hammer down and made the pass on McClure
in the second lap. Bithell held down third
place for two laps before Walker Fowler was
able to get around him, putting Bithell in
