Morgantown, WV (12/3/2011) –
The 2011 GNCC Awards Banquet was held this past
weekend at the Waterfront Place Hotel in Morgantown,
WV where all of the year’s top racers and
industry professionals were honored for their
efforts and accomplishments.
The Waterfront Place Hotel was new location
for this year’s festivities and was a
great setting with lots of room for the 600+
attendee’s and plenty of amenities. A
good time was had by all and everyone seemed
pleased with the new venue.

ATV Insider won the 2011 GNCC Media
of Excellance Award |
The newest edition of ATV Insider Magazine,
which was hot off the presses, was handed out
to everyone this year, which seemed to be a
big hit. There were many awards handed out this
year, and fittingly so, ATV Insider Magazine
was the recipient of the Media Excellence Award.
2011 marked the fifth year that the State Championship
award, with this year’s winner being the
state of Indiana. In previous years, Pennsylvania
took the win for the first two, with Ohio winning
the following two.
This year Can-Am was the recipient of two awards;
one for Manufacturer of the Year and the second
being Sponsor of the Year to recognize their
exceptional support in the GNCC series.
Jimmie O’Dell was on hand to accept the
award on behalf of the manufacturer. “I
want to thank all the teams and riders and their
families. They really make it possible for all
of our riders to go out there and do their jobs,”
said O’Dell, who went on to thank each
individual Can-Am backed rider for their efforts
over the season.

Chris
Borich won the 2011 GNCC XC1 Pro Class
Championship & also recieved the ATV
Rider of the Year Award |
2011 GNCC Champion, Chris Borich was honored
for his championship and was winner of the Rider
of the Year award. “It was a great season
and I really had a lot of fun. It’s definitely
fun being on top and I really had a lot of fun
and it’s been really challenging this
year. I have to thank my mom and dad, my mechanic,
my friends and all the fans that are there for
me,” stated Borich, who has still not
secured a deal for the 2012 season.
