St. Clairsville, OH
(10/9/2011) - Suzuki’s Chris Borich
claimed his seventh win of the season at the Power
Line Park GNCC after a typical come-from-behind
finish, while Brain Wolf put up a good fight and
finished on the podium in second, and Can-Am/Warnert
Racing’s Adam McGill rounded out the top
three in the Pro class.
Unseasonably warm weather and sunny skies were
on hand for round number eleven of the 2011
GNCC series. Track conditions were good as well
with wide open sections, where racers could
test the horsepower of their machines, and there
were also plenty of tight sections to even the
playing field a bit.

#1
Chris Borich battled in the top 5 for
most of the race before he made his charge
to the front in the final lap |
This was a big win for Suzuki’s Chris
Borich as he gained much needed points over
Adam McGill. Borich started out just outside
of the top five and began picking off riders
immediately. Borich made his way into the top
three by the second lap, but fell back in lap
three. “I was running in third behind
Jarrod McClure and then he got stuck so I tried
to go around the mud hole and lost several positions,”
stated Borich.
Borich was not about to settle for anything
but a win and charged hard to work into the
number two spot in the next lap. In the final
lap, Borich put the hammer down, passing Brian
Wolf on the hill climb at the nine mile marker,
just two mile before the finish line to take
the lead and the win. With this much needed
win under his belt, all Borich needs to do in
order to win the championship is to finish within
the top 20 overall and ahead of Adam McGill
at the Ironman GNCC.

Maxxis'
#1 Chris Borich charged his way past #341
Brian Wolf in the final miles of the race
to claim the win with Wolf in a close
2nd place |

#341
Brian Wolf continues to turn heads in
his rookie year as he takes 2nd place |
Privateer racer, Brian Wolf, was looking good
off the start and charged his way to an early
lead. Wolf led for two laps, but after battling
it out with Adam McGill, he would fall back
to second. Despite losing a position, Wolf stayed
close and remounted a charge in the next lap
to take back the lead.
#341 Brian Wolf pushed hard, but he was unable
to hold off Chris Borich and would settle in for
a solid second place, his fifth top three finish
of the season.
