Canada Cup ATV MX Champion, #1 Greg Gee,
dominates Moto Park with 4 Moto Wins |
Chatsworth, Ontario, Canada –
Just over a month after the opening round of the
2011 Canada Cup ATV Motocross Series was held
in Quebec, Canada, the series headed south to
the famous Moto Park track in Chatsworth, Ontaroi
for a double header weekend.
It was going to be a challenging weekend for
those not ready for the heat because a heat wave
was sweeping up from the United States into the
Canada with temps climbing into the triple digitial
in many parts of Ontario, but fortunately, the
track only saw temps sore into the low 90's, but
it didn’t appear to slow down Greg Gee as
he went on to sweep all four pro moto wins to
take over the pro points lead.
After a full gate at the opening round, attendance
was down a bit for rounds two and three as the
Ontario due to conflicting race schedules with
the regional Quebec MX Series and NEATV-MX, but
those that did make attend, were treated to a
great motocross track that provided laptimes around
the two minute range. Despite the lower turnout,
the competition was still impressive and the battles
intense.
Current CMRC Pro ATV MX Champion, #1 Greg Gee,
showed that he has no intension of giving up his
title as he grabbed the pro moto one holeshot
for Saturday’s round two. Gee put the hammer
down and pulled away, finishing several seconds
ahead of the Richard Pelchat in second place.

Moto two was pretty much a repeat for Gee as he
again grabbed the holeshot and led from start to
finish, taking the moto two win and the round two
overall pro win.
“I had a great race. My quad was running
strong and I felt really good out there. This
is one of the better tracks on the circuit and
I really like how it is set up, so I think that
also helped me take the win,” said Gee.
