Winnsboro, SC (11/18/2010) - The final round of the ITP Championship Mud racing series wrapped up its season this past weekend under picture perfect skies and weather conditions that were tailored made for a weekend full of racing. After seven rounds of racing, the long season which started in February, would crown its champions here at the final round.

The classes vary as in many forms of ATV racing from youth to Pro and so do the machines. With Arctic Cat selling the Mud Pro that is manufactured for mudding; it came as no surprise that Can-Am will be releasing their own mud specific, Outlander X MR, to go head to head with all comers.

Can-Am is the title sponsor of Championship Mud Racing series and no doubt gleaned some technical information from their sponsored racers to help bring a functionally equipped ATV to the market. Can-Am by far had the most entries in this series and they fare well after the typical modifications so they can survive the wet and sloppy conditions one finds in a giant circular mud pit! The addition of some highly built engines and Nitrous Oxide had several racers literally skimming the water as they launched into the pit!

The competition was feirce as racers went head to head in the deep mud

The racing would get underway and the battles would be fierce! Under the murky water laid uneven ground, deep holes and ruts that proved challenging especially when trying to make a pass. With 10 classes on tap, there would be a wide ranging degree of skill all providing competition at all levels and so great racing for those lined along the pit taking in all the action.
