“I did OK off the start,” said Lastra. “It took
a little while for it to crank over, I bumped
tires and I got off fourth. Guthrie flipped his
car, I got past a few people and I started chasing
Branden down before he had belt problems. This
car is bone stock except for the exhaust. This
thing rips.”

“I wish I had a little more speed, but it’s great
to start off the year with no problems,” said
Hancock. “There were a lot of wrecks and problems
around me while I worked my way up to the front.
I started to run low on fuel at the end, so I
had to pace myself. In fact, I’m glad it ended
when it did because I don’t think I could have
made another lap on fuel.”
Jeremy Goodall claimed the UTV 900 class win,
and In the UTV 700/800 class, Maxxis’ Skyler Bulloch
secured the class win with his Arctic Cat Wildcat
