The 2012 Best in the Desert Henderson 250 sesason finale started just before sunrise with cool temperatures that greated ATV & SxS / UTV racers for a three lap loop race

Cool temperatures at the BITD Henderson 250 made for a great day of racing. The track was a three lap loop race, and for the most part it was fast and smooth. It featured a few whooped out sections and square edges. The track navigated through several power line roads and dust was a factor for many of the racers.

Moose Racing’s Cody Mitchell used consistency to earn himself the overall ATV win at the Henderson 250. Mitchell had a rear pack start and rode smart to make passes and put himself out front.  The Nevada local waited until the last lap to get past the last few Pro Quads and put him into position to take the overall win.
