& John Natalie Jr. battled for the
lead early on in Moto 3

a good start and moved into second on lap one. He
moved on to battle with Root River Racing’s John
Natalie who had the early lead. The pair battled
back and forth until lap three when Natalie collided
with Wienen sending them both off the track. Wienen
came out of the scramble quickly, and moved into
the lead just ahead of Joel Hetrick, while Natalie
was thrown from his quad, which sent him back several
position. Wienen held the lead for the remainder
of the nine lap race and took the win by an impressive
06.538 over Joel Hetrick.

a check for $10,000. “It’s a great honor to be a
part of this race and to sweep all three motos is
icing on the cake. This is an awesome feeling and
I couldn’t be happier. Hats off to all my sponsors
that helped get me here! I feel awesome and it’s
an honor to take this win home,” said Wienen from
the podium.
Hetrick Racing’s Joel Hetrick claimed the second
podium spot after scoring 2-4-2. Hetrick had a
good start in moto one and moved into third on
lap three. He had the hammer down and clocked
the fastest lap of the moto, an impressive 01:50.634
on lap four. He took over second on lap five where
he remained for the rest of the moto. He took
second with nearly a ten second gap over third.
