Race Report

David Haagsma came in fifth overall on the weekend
and fourth overall in the series points. “First
moto we got a great start and ended up second
behind Joel Hetrick. I followed him for a little
bit, but halfway through I had some lower back
issues and took fourth. Second moto I got in a
little pile up in the first corner but worked
my way back up for fifth overall on the day. That
is all I needed to get fourth in points so I was
pumped,” explained Haagsma.

Parker Wewerka went 8-13 for ninth overall. “I
am very excited about it. It is going pretty good
so far. This race isn’t counted for points for
Pro Am, so I thought I would get my feet wet for
next year going Pro. First moto I had the very
inside gate, I had a good jump and stuck with
it. I just tried to stay smooth and not make mistakes.
I rode my race and ended up eighth. I feel pretty
good for my first Pro moto,” explained Wewerka.

for it but we decided to try it out. It was a
lot of fun I liked the track. I had two good holeshots.
I got tired at the end but it let me see where
I am at and where I need to get to,” stated Sepesi.
