Red Bud Youth ATV Motocross
Race Report
::Continued::
In Super Mini 12-15, Bryce Ford put in a perfect
ride. Ford won both the first and second moto
for first overall, and is second place in the
championship points.
|
Baldwin's
Bryce Ford & Cody Ford both brought
home wins at Red Bud
|
Trevor Thatcher came in second overall and Brandon
O Neill rounded out the top three in Super Mini.
In 90 Shifter 12-15, Zack Decker came out swinging
with 2-1 moto finishes for first overall. Decker
put down the fastest lap of the class in the second
moto for the win and is just four points away
from the points lead.
Trevor Thatcher came in second overall and Lance
Walker took a strong third place finish in 90
Shifter.
Another youth rider worth mentioning is the very
talented Mason Jackson. RedBud is a brutally rough
track and for most riders one or two classes has
them worn down, but Jackson competed and excelled
in four different classes. He had a perfect ride
in 70 Open and 70 Shifter, where he won every
single moto for first overall in both classes.
In 90 Open Jr. and 90 Shifter, Decker took third
overall.

Mason Jackson
claimed overall wins in both 70 Open &
70 Shifter

The AMA ATV Motocross National Championship series
will next head to the final amateur points round
at Loretta Lynns Ranch in Hurricane Mills, TN
August 13-14.
