ATV Motocross Youth Report

In Girls 8-13 Hayle Goff took the overall win
after putting in a spectacular ride and winning
both motos.
The number 255 of Logan Mayfield earned herself
second place overall. Mayfield put in a strong
ride with 3-4 moto finishes and now has a 17 point
lead in the championship points.
Kayla Kindrick out of Earlysville, VA rounded
out the Girls 8-13 podium in third with 5-3 moto
finishes.
Lance Walker captured the win in 90 Open Sr.
(12-15). The second moto was cancelled due to
the rain but Walker managed to win the first moto
so it worked out in his favor.
Trevor Thatcher put in a hard charge to take
second and Zack Decker rounded out the 90 Open
Sr. podium with third.
The youngest racers on the track come from the
50 Single Speed. This class is made up of kids
ages 4-8. Landon Corn had a great weekend, going
1-1 for first overall. Corn increased his points
lead to 30, and looks to be the top contender
for the national championship.
The number 231 of Kolby Tucker rode his Cobra
to second overall with 2-4 moto finishes and Jaycee
Webb out of Benton, IL finished third.
The next round of AMA ATV Motocross National
Championship racing will be held at High Point
Raceway in Mount Morris, PA May 21-22 where the
nations best youth riders will duke it out once
again for moto wins and championship points.
