Buchanan,
MI (8/5/2014) - The Mtn Dew ATV Motocross National Championship Racing Series headed north to host round eight at the famous Red Bud Motocross Track in Buchannon, Michigan. With this round being the second to last round, racers were in top form earning valuable points towards their class Championships. Earning his first Pro-Am Win in the United States was Vital Cazenave followed by Jeffrey Rastrelli in second and Tyler Hamrick rounding out the podium.

Vital Cazenave has had two great back-to-back finishes these last two rounds. After earning his first ever Pro-am podium finish at Unadilla MX Round 7, Cazenave set another personal goal of topping the podium in the Pro-Am Class.

The Argentinian racer got off to a great start in Moto 1 and would lead from start to finish. In Pro-Am Moto 2, Cazenave finished second effectively earning the overall for the day.

Finishing second overall was Jeffrey Rastrelli. The JB Racing / Can-Am mounted racer got off to a bad start in Moto 1, but was able to makeup some ground to finish fourth. Moto 2 went much better for Rastrelli as he came out of the gate swinging and would earn the win.

“In Moto one I kind of got a bad start. I worked my way up to fourth. I came out in second moto with a little better start and I passed Vital right at the beginning. I just rode my own race after that and I ended up winning the Moto and I got second overall,” explained Jeffrey Rastrelli
