Report - Round Two

Troy Hill has been consistent each round with
two second place finishes giving him the second
spot in the 90 Open Sr. Class. After winning the
season opener, Peyton Zimmerman sits third in
the points after encountering some bad luck at
round two.

In the 90 Automatic Sr. (12-15) Class, Corey
Bost leads the points race with a third place
finish at Aonia Pass and by winning Muddy Creek
round two. John Natalie Experience’s Bryce
Ford got off to a great start by winning at round
one and finishing fourth at round two.

Only three points separate first and second heading to round three. Zach Whisenant got of to a rocky start by finishing seventh at the opening round, however, he came back at round two and clinched a podium finish in second and bumped him up to third in the points.
Peyton Zimmerman has also been a young busy racer,
also racing in three classes. Zimmerman is the
current points leader in the 90 Shifter (12-15)
class after winning round one and finishing third
at round two. Also with one win, Dylan McClellan
sits second after winning round two. Troy Hill
rounds out the top three in the 90 Shifter class
in third.

Max Lindquist is also another racer that has got off to a very strong start by winning every moto so far in the 70 Open (6-11) Class. After finishing seventh last year in the 70 Open Class Points Championship, it looks as if Max Lindquist is the one to watch in this class.

Trailing just ten points behind Lindquist is Taron Liebe who has finished second at both rounds. Third place in the 70 Open Class Points currently belongs to Tristan Evans with thirty-seven points total.
In the even young youth ranks, Grant Olson leads
the 50 Open (6-8) class with one win under his
belt so far this season. Mason Jackson also has
one victory to his name in 2014. Jackson is just
six points away from the number one spot with
Brody Runyon holding down the third position in
the points.

The Mtn Dew ATV Motocross Racing Series will head to High Point Raceway this weekend for round three in Mount Morris, PA. With all the youth classes and competition, the these young racers are what make the future of the sport and it will be interesting to see who tops the podium once again as the season progresses.
