Dustin Wimmer Storms Back Into Victory Lane with Muddy Creek Sweep

Veteran Honda rider Joe Byrd, also a title contender, grabbed the MotorcycleUSA.com holeshot award in the first moto, but he eventually dropped to eighth. Byrd led the points standings mid-way through the season, but he is now struggling with an injury.

Kawasaki's Chad Wienen was back to 14th place in Moto 1, but was able to charge his way up to a 4th place finish

Warnert Racing / Can-Am's Cody Miller & Harold Goodman battled nearly the entire moto with Miller taking 5th & Goodman 6th

In moto two, Wimmer started slightly better in fourth, with Harold Goodman grabbing the MotorcycleUSA.com holeshot award ahead of Josh Upperman. Wimmer soon passed his teammate Doug Gust for third, then tracked down the lead Honda riders to snag the top spot. He then cruised to his fourth win of the year, with teammate Gust making it a 1-2 Suzuki sweep.

Rage ATV's Harold Goodman grabbed the Moto 2 Holeshot ahead of Josh Upperman & Doug Gust

"I've been training hard at home, and each race I get a little better and better," said Gust. "The whole team is working hard, we have an engineer here from Japan, he has really helped tune the bikes. Also, my girlfriend and my family came out, they helped me go."

Josh Upperman lead for several laps before Dustin Wimmer moved in to take the lead by the 4th lap of the race, which allowed Wimmer to pull away

Suzuki's Doug Gust would apply the pressure to Upperman nearly the entire Moto till making the pass with 2 laps to go to claim 2nd Overall
