ZTR Products Introduces New Z-Nut for ATV's

ZTR Racing Mini ATV locknut

ZTR Mini ATV Locknut

Boswell, OK (1/9/2009) - The processing used to produce our new anti-fade nut is revolutionary. Instead of the typical anti-fade nut that has a slot and 2 bolts to tight, forcing it to pinch the thread, the Z-Nut looks like a simple straight-forward nut with a hint of sizzle. (the sizzle is what keeps the Z-Nut from loosing)

A direct consequence of the simplified Z-Nut is the reduction in machining and labor with allows for a more cost effective way to build an anti-fade nut and is reflected in the retail price.

FYI: Note that the flange is installed against the hub, the engraving will not show! In order for the Z-Nut to work it must be installed this way. Recommended torque of 75-100 ft/lbs as well (tighten about 10% more than a typical axle nut). The added torque will not be transferred to the bearing inside the carrier, it will be absorbed by the Z-Nut.

No longer a need to use loc-tite, tape or imagination to keep the axle nuts tight.

MSRP: $44.99
