- Can-am supported/family operated Zakowski
Motorsports is happy to announce their team
for 2011. With two years of GNCC racing
under their belt with sole rider Zac Zakowski,
Zakowski Motorsports is expanding their
efforts this season with two new additions
on the way. Zac Zakowski #990 will be back
in full force this year to chase down the
4x4 Open championship on his Ron Woods powered/Can-am
Outlander 800 XT. After a phenomenal year,
Zac is ready and determined to make his
move.
New for this year is the addition of
defending 4x4 Lites champion, Kevin Trantham
#213, who will continue his threat in
the Lites class to defend his title aboard
an all new Zakowski Motorsports/Can-am
Outlander 500 XT. Kevin not only dominated
the Lites class in 2010, but also has
shown the ability to run with the big
boys, winning the 2010 Heartland 10-hour
Challenge with Zac and Zakowski Motorsports.

working with ZMS this year. I’m
anticipating my best season yet with the
support and machinery Zakowski Motorsports
can provide. They have always built some
of the best ATV’s out there and
I’m just proud to be sitting on
one.”

The second edition to the team comes
in the form of an all new Can-am Commander
1000 X, to be driven by Zac Zakowski in
UTV Modified. While Zac’s racing
career originates from go-karts, it will
be interesting to see where he’ll
stand after converting to a full on ATV
racer. “This upcoming season will
be insane to say the least, pulling double
duty with the Can-am Commander and the
stiff competition in 4x4 open. This year’s
expansion is a leap forward for ZMS and
we’re happy to be working with Kevin.
With the amount of team chemistry we have
and sponsor support, there’s no
telling what we can accomplish for 2011!”
