Chris Borich extends points lead at Unadilla
GNCC |
Chino, CA (9/15/2010) - Yoshimura
rider Chris Borich took his eighth win of the
season on Saturday at the famed Unadilla MX track.
Returning to action after the series went on a
ten-week summer break, Borich increased his lead
in the championship hunt to 44 points.
Borich, utilizing the power of his Yoshimura-tuned
quad, secured a strong start at the front of
the pack. From there, he battled with the lead
group throughout the entire race, turning consistently
fast laps as he waited patiently to make his
attack. On the final lap of the race, Borich
capitalized on another rider’s mistake
and moved into the lead. He put the Yoshimura
power to the ground and set off at a pace his
rivals couldn’t match.
“All of us here at Yoshimura are very
pleased to see Chris take his eighth win of
the season,” said Yoshimura’s Kory
Ellis. “We’re very proud to sponsor
Chris, and hopefully he can bring home another
championship for Yoshimura.”
The win allowed Borich to stretch his championship
points lead to 45 with just three races left
on the 2010 GNCC schedule.
