Union, SC (4/12/2010) - Chris Borich
has once again dominated the podium in the XC1
Pro GNCC class. Borich and his Yoshimura-prepped
Suzuki QuadRacer R450 took the lead at the Big
Buck GNCC in Union, South Carolina, on the final
lap of Saturday’s race and took it to
the top of the box. This marks Borich’s
third win of the young 2010 season, and his
fourth podium finish.
“I’m feeling really good, the bike,
the Suzuki, and Yoshimura programs are clicking
right now,” Borich said. “My Suzuki
worked awesome from start to finish, and the
Yosh power just hooked up and went to the front.”
Borich made a critical pass on the last lap
of the race, after watching the leader’s
lines. When Borich saw the white flag, he knew
he had to make his move and his Yoshimura-equipped
R450 didn’t hesitate to overtake the leader.
Borich is the defending GNCC ATV champion, and
his quad is certainly dialed in for more wins
this year.
“Borich and his Yoshimura Suzuki R450
are a great team,” Yoshimura’s Marketing
Manager Kory Ellis said. “His quad has
the power to win, and Borich is a smart racer
who knows when to make a move to the front.
Yoshimura is really happy with his dedication
to the program and his great results.”
The next round of GNCC action takes place at
Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills,
Tennessee, on April 24-25. Borich will take
his 10-point lead there and try to stretch it
even further.
