Chino, CA (3/9/2010) - With one race
win already under his belt after the season
opener at River Ranch, FL, Yoshimura Suzuki’s
Chris Borich headed to Washington, GA for the
Maxxis General round of the Grand National Cross
Country Series.
Despite being involved in a pile-up on lap
two that took out two other riders, Chris recovered
and spent the rest of the race battling for
second with ATV legend Bill Ballance. “I
tried to pass Ballance in one field section
and got by him, then I pushed out wide and he
got back by me,” said Borich. “I
finally got by him in one of the mud sections
and then I tried to catch Taylor but it was
too late.” Chris finished in second place,
and is currently tied for the points lead with
Taylor Kiser at 55.
The next round of the GNCC series will take
place at Steele Creek Campground in Morganton,
North Carolina.
