Yoshimura Supports Media Allstars ATV Team

Chino, CA (4/13/2010) - Yoshimura R&D of America is widening its support of ATV racing at the national level by once again signing on to help the Media Allstars team reach their goals of winning motos and having the best-suited quads to do so. The Media Allstars team is a powerhouse of talented amateur and pro riders competing in the AMA ATV MX series as well as some of the GNCC circuit, and Yoshimura has been involved with their ATV racing efforts since 2007.

The team’s roster consists of Pat Brown and Cody Grant in the ATV MX Pro Class, Chase Cunningham, Mario Diangelo, and Mark Batson in the MX Am/Vet ranks, and a GNCC side-by-side effort headed up by Josh Starrett, Jorge Cuartas, and Jake Brattain.

In his first year in the pro class, Cody Grant will pilot a Yoshimura-prepped Suzuki QuadRacer R450. Grant has been on the team for four years, and the upcoming AMA ATV MX race at Ballance Moto X in Bowling Green, Kentucky, will be his first pro appearance in his home state. Also in on the newly minted pro effort by the Media Allstars is Pat Brown aboard his Honda TRX450R. Brown has been racing in the pro class for five years and has consistently finished in the top 10. Yoshimura’s motor work for both the QuadRacer R450 and the TRX450R will help Grant and Brown get off the line quickly and they’ll have power throughout their motos.

“We’ve got the best support in the sport, and Yoshimura’s motors are undeniably at the top of the food chain,” Media Allstars Team Manager Jorge Cuartas said. “When you combine that backing, with two pro riders with something to prove, there’s potential for greatness.”

“This is our fourth year supporting the Media Allstars, and they have some of the best amateur race support there is,” Yoshimura Marketing Manager Kory Ellis said. “With the team also including Brown and Grant in the pro class, it’s even more exciting for Yoshimura to be a part of their race effort. The Yoshimura motor work will help them be even faster than they already are.”

The next AMA ATV MX race is scheduled to take place at Ballance Moto X in Bowling Green, Kentucky, on April 17-18.
